Ahh that special balance between having all the items you need and not getting bogged down with a heavy pack. My pack weighs 27 pounds with everything and Martin’s weighs 31 pounds (He is carrying the tent.) This is without water.

Here’s my pack. I’m going to name it “the Beast.” It actually is not as heavy as I feared it would be. Weight doesn’t seem to be the issue as much as space! I decided to attach my sleeping bag to the outside. I will lay out my clothes and take a photo of those before I do my final packing.
